Yoko Barsky is an absolute joy to work with and has such a thorough
knowledge of design that retrofitting the difficult space we presented her
with proved simple in its execution. Our post and beam Deck House was
built some years ago. In renovating the kitchen and dining area, one of our
greatest challenges was to remedy a poor lighting system. We had to work
with the existing electrical plan and the solutions that Yoko suggested
have proven a total success. The depth of product choices and the
cleverness of her design gave us a kitchen, dining and entertaining area,
which have exceeded all our expectations. It is a pleasure to come into
this open one room space and experience its elegance every day; a true
